Kith and Kin is a unisex beauty salon rooted in style, inclusiveness, and elegance. The brand aims to be more than just a salon - it seeks to be a space where everyone feels welcome and united, where personal grooming is an art and beauty is not exclusive.

The Challenge:

The salon market is saturated. Many salons offer similar services, similar aesthetics, and similar branding. Kith and Kin wanted to break away from the noise: to carve a distinct identity that ensures they are memorable, stylish, and trusted. The goal was to build a brand identity that feels premium yet approachable - a salon that both men and women can connect with easily.

The Solution:

We devised a clean, minimal, and distinctive visual identity to give Kith and Kin the edge they needed.

Logo Design: Created a mark integrating familiar salon tools - scissors and a comb - to immediately convey what the business is about, but done in a subtle, elegant way.

Typography: A clean, sans-serif word mark was selected to maintain clarity, modernism, and readability. The simplicity helps the brand feel contemporary and inclusive.

Minimalism: The colour palette and visual identity were kept understated, so that the brand could be flexible across signage, digital media, and in-salon materials without visual clutter. The Result:

The Result:

The new brand identity positioned Kith and Kin as distinct in a crowded field. The minimal logo and refined typography helped them stand out visually, drawing in customers who appreciate style, clarity, and aesthetic quality.
